With a background in old-fashioned, door-to-door campaigning at the federal, state and local levels, Robert Klaus knows how to frame the right message for the job. A true believer in the adage “knowledge is power,” he applies a savvy skillset rooted in meticulous research and a keen understanding of the political process. Robert works with a host of Serafin’s public affairs clients, focusing on advocacy, reputation management and media relations. His work has given him broad knowledge on issues pertaining to transportation, infrastructure, community relations and more.
Robert builds the framework for client campaigns to help sharpen the message, develop support and find the right venue to tell the story. A former Serafin intern, Robert uses his experience at various levels of government to clearly and concisely articulate client messages, understanding that how the message is told is often as important as the message itself.
Before joining the Serafin team, Robert interned in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C. He also worked in Chicago’s 23rd Ward, where he assisted with community outreach and constituent services.
