Emilio Balderas has a knack for civic engagement, strategy and bringing people together. 

Emilio manages stakeholder relationships, develops communications strategy, and writes content for our clients. You might often find him conducting communications trainings or representing clients at events in Chicago.   

In his free time, Emilio is pursuing an MBA at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. At Booth he is concentrating in strategic management, marketing management, and business analytics. He is an active member of Booth Social Impact, Booth Pride, and the Coalition of Minorities in Business.  

Emilio graduated with honors from UChicago in June 2021 with a degree in Anthropology, Gender & Sexuality Studies.    

His previous work experience includes Groupon and Mijente, and he was also a legal intern for the LGBT Project at the Heartland Alliance National Immigrant Justice Center.   

He’s passionate about his family and his two pet cats.
