Bill Utter is an experienced leader and strategist with decades of service in the public and private sectors including marketing, corporate reputation, crisis communications, public affairs, thought leadership, media relations and news. He has worked on a wide range of issues --- from co-leading the launch of the Affordable Care Act in Illinois, to directing award-winning destination marketing for Chicago and Illinois.  He has served as a Vice President for a Chicago public affairs firm and as a partner at a global PR firm. Prior to agency and marketing work, Bill was on the senior staff of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, ultimately serving as Director of Communication. Bill began his career as a newspaper reporter and TV news producer in Chicago.
