With a background in politics and communications, Ben Cutler draws on a flexible skillset to help clients navigate the complex and ever changing world of public affairs and media relations.
Ben has spent time in Washington, D.C., helping to shape communications strategy for a wide array of elected officials and organizations at the federal, state and local levels. He also interned at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bloomington, Indiana, where he was responsible for researching and crafting grants in support of club members.
An ambitious worker, Ben fills a variety of roles at Serafin on a diverse array of client matters. From researching and crafting innovative media strategies and achieving successful placement, to developing targeted community relations approaches and delivering innovative campaign plans, Ben is always willing to lend a hand and take on a new challenge. He also uses his keen understanding of the millennial generation and social media to garner additional exposure for clients on a variety of platforms and in diverse markets.
Originally from Akron, Ohio, Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Indiana University in Bloomington. He spent a semester traveling Europe and studying overseas in Seville, Spain, where he honed his Spanish communication skills.
New to Chicago, Ben continues to hopelessly root for the Browns, Indians, Cavs and Hoosiers. When he’s not in the office, try tracking him down on one of his runs along the lake or blocking his shot in a pickup game of basketball.
