Lars Weborg

Lars Weborg holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bucknell University and will soon achieve a Master’s in journalism from DePaul University in Chicago. He was the 2010 recipient of DePaul’s award for Outstanding Achievement in Journalism and in 2009 his work with Radio DePaul was honored with four national grand prizes from the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System.

Lars spent time interning for the Chicago social network and news aggregator Windycitizen.com where he helped foster the local digital discourse by contributing to some of the site’s topic-specific blogs and managing the site’s Twitter feed. More recently he worked for WBEZ Chicago Public Media producing segments and features—both narrative and non-narrative—for their daily news magazine “Eight Forty-Eight.”

Prior to becoming a part of the Chicago media scene, Lars worked as a sales associate travelling throughout the Chicagoland area. During this time, the Pennsylvania native became well acclimated to the region surrounding Chicago and he learned the importance of a comprehensive and consultative approach to relationship building within the corporate setting. Now, having navigated the local terrain and the ever expanding grid of the world wide web, Lars joins Serafin and Associates to continue conveying information and telling stories with an acumen both traditional and cutting edge alike.
